Port Jervis, NJ- June 12, 2006 - Nireco America Corporation announces the purchase of Datatran Labs, Inc. The acquisition strengthens Nireco America’s fluid power and general industrial product lines while increases the company’s manufacturing capabilities.

Datatran Labs, originally incorporated in 1972, serves the fluid power and electronics controls industries. From 1991 to 2000, the company joint ventured with Conic Systems, a forming partner company of Nireco America. Adding to the Nireco line of controls, the Datatran acquisition expands Nireco America’s product offerings to include servo valve drivers, PWM valve drivers, hydrostatic transmission controllers, encoders, dither generators and a vast array of signal conditioning components to name a few. The expanded product line will be marketed under the Datatran brand as a product division of Nireco America Corporation and will operate out of the companies Port Jervis, NY plant.
